Finally we managed to make both LoraWAN network server and application server run on OpenWrt/LEDE.

It is tested on our Box and Box OutDoor.

Let's see how it works.

Click here to check the private LoraWAN server

It is written in Erlang and uses websockets to forward the data.

We can just follow the instructions on the github, then compile the following packets for Openwrt.

erlang-asn1_3.0.4_ramips_24kec.ipk
erlang-compiler_5.0.4_ramips_24kec.ipk
erlang-crypto_3.7.2_ramips_24kec.ipk
erlang-hipe_3.11.3_ramips_24kec.ipk
erlang-inets_6.3.4_ramips_24kec.ipk
erlang-mnesia_4.14.2_ramips_24kec.ipk
erlang-snmp_5.1.1_ramips_24kec.ipk
erlang-ssl_8.1_ramips_24kec.ipk
erlang-syntax-tools_2.1.1_ramips_24kec.ipk

The openwrt packet for Erlang needs to be updated to at least OTP18, here you can find the modified makefile :

After that you can upload the codes, and run.B)
